  • I've already encountered something similar in Korea 2 years ago. There was a hotel with a machine displaying the available rooms. One inserted some cash, and it spit out the card key. The room was actually quite nice too, with a wonderful view.

  • I am a Canadian sitting here in a PC cafe in South Korea and I can't tell you the number of times during my visits that I have been yelled at, or told to fuck off because people assumed I was American, or one of the American soldiers stationed here.

  • Why won't insurance cover the loses? For someone ignorant on the subject, it sounds like they didn't bother paying for enough insurance. Whether or not it was a charity, it seems a foolish gamble to play with peoples health/lives. I'll naturally eat my words if I am wrong.
